Ballydougan Pottery, Shop and Restaurant
This thatched house was built in 1785 by the Huguenot family. Restored and rethatched by its current owner who saved the house from dereliction in 1995. A Weaver's Cottage from this location can be seen at the Ulster Folk Museum at Cultra The 18th Century House now a Gift Shop where the full range of Ballydougan pottery and other quality gifts are on display. It has a Restaurant and Coffee Lounge catering for Breakfast, Morning Coffee, Lunch or Afternoon Tea. Also, caters for Conferences, Group visits, Family Occasions, Wedding Receptions etc. including night time opening on request.
