Old Railway Cutting
Old railway cutting between Victoria Street and Fair Green Avenue. This was on the line of the Armagh, Keady and Castleblaney Railway. The railway from Armagh to Keady opened in 1909 and closed in 1957. The onward line along here to Castleblaney opened in 1910 and closed in 1924. The concrete structure was the wall of a short-lived play area for children. For more information on this old railway line see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castleblayney,_Keady_and_Armagh_Railway
