"PBWW" access cover, Portballintrae
A small access cover, on the Beach Road, close to the harbour. It has the initials “PBWW” which I take to mean “Portballintrae Water Works”. Further information very welcome.

The boat club, seen from the car park. Portballintrae is renowned because just off the coast divers brought up the greatest find of Spanish Armada treasure ever recovered from a wrecked ship 'The Girona'.
