Bushmills Free Presbyterian Church, Priestland Road, Bushmills
Free Presbyterianism is a doctrinally fundamental, evangelical, and separatist church set up by the Rev. Dr Ian K. Paisley. It defines itself as being "separated unto the gospel" of Christ (Romans 1:1).. free from all association with liberalism or ecumenism. "Specifically, we are separated from the World Council of Churches, the National Council of Churches, and every other form of theological compromise that would undermine the truth of Scripture".

Welcome to the Moyle District sign on Priestland Road
The Moyle District with a population of 17,000 has the second smallest population of any district council in the United Kingdom. Only the Isles of Scilly have a smaller population. It consists of the north-eastern corner of Co Antrim and the council has a slight Nationalist majority. The western part of the district, including the town of Bushmills is strongly Unionist.
