Apartments, Portballintrae
The period from the late 1990’s saw considerable investment in the building of apartments in Portballintrae – mainly as second/weekend homes. This block, at the corner of the Bayhead Road and Dunluce Park (right) is one of the more attractive ones. They are a landmark on arriving from the Portrush side.

Sweeney's Public House, Portballintrae
Sweeney's is steeped in history and tradition, being one of the coaching stables for the Leslie Estate and not surprisingly, as one of the oldest surviving domestic structures in the village, is presently listed as being of architectural and historic significance. It was a meeting place for friends and business acquaintances.
