Cotoneaster berries, Belfast
The red berries of the aptly-named hollyberry cotoneaster http://www.habitas.org.uk/flora/species.asp?item=4710, on the Comber Greenway, between the North Road and the Beersbridge Road. Not strictly a “wild” plant but one which is often found outside gardens. Opinions vary about the berries but the general view seems to be that they are mildly toxic.
