Enamel garage sign, Belfast (September 2015)
An enamel sign at Elmdale Street off Bloomfield Avenue. It seems to have originated in the days when Belfast had five-figure numbers and the STD code 0232. An additional “4” has been added at some stage. The code was later changed to 01232 and later still to 028.
