McMaster Street, Belfast
A street of terrace houses (built at the very end of the 19th century) running from the Newtownards Road to Major Street (background). One of the few streets not redeveloped, it is now listed but some of the houses are on the “at risk” register. Note for genealogists – this is not the same place as McMaster’s Court. It was off Millfield, on the other side of the Lagan.

Currently vacant premises, at the corner of Lendrick Street (right), advertised to let. Built (from memory) as a furniture/electrical goods shop, subsequently closed, later a charity shop and, more recently, a furniture shop again. I have no connection with the premises and cannot enter into correspondence.

"Past and Future" mural, Ballymacarrett, Belfast
A new mural, on the theme of “past and future”, under this one Image at the Newtownards Road end of Lendrick Street. It took several weeks work by the artist. A few days ago, when almost complete, someone emptied a tin of white paint over it. The damage has been repaired. The remains of the paint can be seen on the footpath.
