Bench Mark, Coleraine
Cut bench mark located at the front entrance to Coleraine Railway Station Image The mark has been levelled to 12.47 metres above MSL.
There was once a Flush Bracket located on the station building (possibly the northern side) numbered OSBM 3430, but this appears to have been destroyed. This mark looks like it was cut in the early 1970s after the FB disappeared.

Crossing trains, Coleraine
Most of the Belfast – Londonderry line is single track. Many up and down trains are booked to cross at Coleraine with a connection for Portrush. C3K set 3008 (right) arrived first with the 12.28 from Belfast. C4K set 4006 had just arrived with the 13.10 from Londonderry. The two classes can (and do) run in multiple with each other. Recent experience suggests that the stock has no difficulty in maintaining the present timings.
