Bertie Peacock statue, Coleraine
This statue to Bertie Peacock MBE (1928-2004), in the Diamond, was unveiled by Pat Jennings in July 2007. Bertie played for Belfast side Glentoran before coming to fame with Celtic. In the days before players had lucrative incomes from the game and advertising, he returned home to run a bar.
