Waterside from Derry Quay

North West Regional College
When I attended this establishment in the 1960's it was known at Londonderry Technical College, others called it Derry Tech. Once again extensions are being added to the building located along Strand Road. The highlight of our day-release session was to get up the Strand Road at lunch time and go to the Chinese Restaurant, I think at the time they offered a 3 course lunch for 4s/6d. Sounds cheap but then we were getting £5.00 per week
