Closed factory, Derry / Londonderry
Pictured along Abercorn Road. One of several that were usually shirt factories that gave employment predominately to the women in the area. A lot of these buildings have got into unsafe condition and were demolished.

Heading west, another of the disused shirt factories in the frame. I think that was about 40 of them in their heyday, mostly employing women. There was little employment for the men in those days.
