The River Bann at Portglenone
The Bann has some facilities for pleasure boating but they are far from over developed. This is the view downstream, from the bridge at Portglenone, with the pontoons visible on the middle right of the photo. The river is in flood after heavy rain the previous day.

Pharmacist's sign
This is a variant of the more frequently version of the serpent of Epidaurus coiled round the long stem and the bowl of Hygeia, with the snake making a "B" shape, a reference to Bannside, and the waters of the Bann included within the bowl.
