MPD railcar, Ballymena
The MPD railcars usually ran in formations of at least two cars. One exception was a working from Belfast York Road to Ballymena which returned to Antrim at 16.00 on Fridays. This is no 64 which, with 63 and 65, had a driving cab at each end.

Charter train, Ballymena
In 1983 the Belfast Chamber of Commerce arranged a special train to commemorate its bicentenary. The train, composed of a NIR locomotive hauling preserved carriages is seen crossing the Galgorm Road at Ballymena station.
