"Little Lea", Belfast
A large, early 20th century, house on the Circular Road, best known as the childhood home of CS Lewis.
Listed as HB26/12/051 where a long description includes this extract “Large two and a half storey Domestic Revival suburban residence of 1905, with all the hallmarks of the genre including brick and roughcast and rosemary tile-clad facade, gabled bays, overhanging tiled roof, multi-paned windows, dormers and tall chimneystacks; to the W end is a large, relatively recent and relatively sympathetic, two storey extension. The house was the childhood home of writer CS Lewis, having been built by his father, Albert, and remained in the Lewis family until 1930.”

Purplebricks sign, Belfast (July 2018)
Purplebricks is an on-line estate agency https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purplebricks. This “for sale”sign, on the Circular Road, is the first I’ve seen. House number removed to avoid possible nuisance or embarrassment for the occupants.
I have absolutely no connection with the business or the sale. I cannot enter into correspondence.
