Level crossing, Cullybackey station
The crossing keeper opening the gates at the level crossing, across the Station Road, on the Ballymoney side of Cullybackey station. The station had previously been a block post with passing loop (Image (July 1974). The somersault signal remained to protect the crossing which was subsequently converted to automatic half-barriers as seen in Image (January 1996).

The 11.10 Belfast Gt Victoria Street – Londonderry (3012) calling at Cullybackey station. The hourly train service between Ballymena and Cullybackey is much better than the bus and, unlike the latter, operates on a Sunday.
