'Junction One' shopping centre
'Junction One' is a popular shopping centre on the outskirts of Antrim. It consists almost entirely of so-called 'outlet' stores. The Northern Ireland Tourist Board describes it as "based on the long established transatlantic concept of international outlet centres, Junction One offers surpluses, overruns, samples and previous seasons stock providing the ideal opportunity to buy famous brands at genuine savings on high street prices." Indeed.

Such was the excitement at the opening of this particular store, at 0500 BST on Saturday 6th October 2007, that a melee ensued with one man ending up getting arrested and several store mannequins damaged.
