Along the Ladyhill Road
Cows chew the cud as they relax in the sunshine. There's not a lot to see along this stretch of the Ladyhill Rd. The old quarry, now redundant, on one side though little is visible from here anyway, and a tangle of hedges for a stretch on the other. I had just snapped this peaceful scene when I heard a snorting and bellowing and saw a rather large bull glaring at me from the other side of the hedge, obviously a bit annoyed at my presence so close to his harem. He wouldn't have found the hedge and flimsy bit of barbed wire much of an obstacle so I beat a hasty retreat down the road.
