Old bus stop near Antrim
Old and now redundant bus stop near Antrim. It is located outside the Dunsilly Hotel on what would have been the Dunsilly Road (see Image). There used to be a public house where the hotel now stands and the Dunsilly Road would have headed north across what is now the M2/M22 motorway. Full marks to the hotel developers for leaving this small trace of history behind.

The Dunsilly Road near Antrim
The Dunsilly Road north of Antrim. It was once the main road out of the town but has now been largely swallowed up by the A26 Ballymena Road - this little section close to the motorway junction is all that remains of the original road. The road now ends in a cul-de-sac at the Dunsilly Hotel (directly behind my position) but would originally have crossed over what is now the M2/M22 and continued north.
