This section of the M2, north of Templepatrick, opened in 1971. This is the view towards Dunsilly, from near Donegore, where it is crossed by a footbridge. It was taken on a Sunday afternoon and the observant will note the absence of lorries.

The "Maiden City Flyer" near Donegore
The “Maiden City Flyer” is the name given to the frequent express coach service, between Belfast and Londonderry, operated by Ulsterbus. An air-conditioned double-decker is heading north along the M2 near Donegore with the 10.30 from Belfast.
