Gleno village (7)
Looking in the direction of Glynn and Magheramorne. The cottages (right) are on the site of a former corn mill and were restored in the early 1990’s by the Hearth Housing Association with Dawson Stelfox as the project architect. The coming of the railway to nearby Glynn Image made Gleno accessible to tourists. McComb’s guide (published in Belfast in 1861) describes the village as “a romantic village, on a stream along which there are several waterfalls” Image
