Victoria Terminal (VT3), Belfast harbour (September 2018)
The containerships “Endurance” (left) and “RMS Veritas”. The Harbour Commissioners intend to modernise the terminal “Future capital expenditure plans include an upgrade of the port’s ferry and container handling facilities at a cost of £60million . . . . . also making a substantial investment in new cranes and terminal capacity improvements at the port’s container terminal at VT3. This terminal handles direct shipping services between Belfast and the key European hub ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, and provides global connectivity for Northern Ireland’s exporters and importers” - press release dated 2 July 2018.

Shipping container terminal, Belfast
This is the main shipping container terminal in Belfast, VT3 (Victoria Terminal 3). There is also another facility a few hundred metres away at the Belfast Container Terminal. When this was taken there were no ships berthed here, but see Image for an example. The ferry behind is the 'Stena Mersey' https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:194219/mmsi:219029947/imo:9329851/vessel:STENA_BALTICA waiting to depart for Birkenhead (Liverpool).
