A sign warning against feeding the birds. It reads “Many birds congregate in Victoria Park, partly because people feed them. In large numbers, birds particularly greylag geese, pose a threat to aircraft from the nearby George Best Belfast City Airport”. See also

The Connswater, Victoria Park, Belfast (2012-1)
The tidal Connswater, a short distance upstream of the Airport Road entrance to the harbour estate. My understanding is that, although there will be work carried out along the embankment and riverbank, the river will not be affected. The premises in the background are on the Connsbank Road. The view is from the Victoria Park embankment at approximately 85 minutes after low water.
