Airport Road West, Belfast (January 2017)
A long road, on reclaimed land, on the eastern side of the Belfast harbour estate. It serves a variety of harbour-related business on its way from Sydenham to Tillysburn. This stretch is just past the RSPB’s Window on Wildlife http://www.geograph.org.uk/snippet/15743. The area behind the trees (right) is currently vacant ground with no immediate proposals for development - see Image

Pipelines, Belfast docks
These pipelines stretch to a tanker docking terminal in the Victoria Channel - a tanker docked at the end can be seen in Image The vessels discharge oil/gas/chemical products which are then carried via these pipes to nearby storage facilities such as Image for processing and distribution. The red line is an 11000 volt electricity cable.
