Field gate, Templepatrick - May 2014(1)
There are several similar gates, with what I take to be stone pillars, on the road between Templepatrick and Dunadry. This one is on the northern side, just outside the 40mph limit. Image shows another, further along the same road.

Steam train, Kilmakee level crossing, Templepatrick (1984)
Preserved RPSI locomotive no 4 http://www.steamtrainsireland.com/locomotives/loco4.htm waiting to cross Kilmakee level crossing with empty stock for Antrim, where it would work a private charter to Portrush. At the time the line between Bleach Green and Antrim had no timetabled passenger services. The barriers were operated by the train’s guard.

Weed spraying train near Templepatrick
See Image The same train, on return from Londonderry, at Kilmakee level crossing, Templepatrick. The line, from Antrim to Bleach Green, had been closed to timetable services but still remained double track. The level crossing barriers were lowered and raised by the train’s guard. Image shows the present arrangement.
