Whitehead railway station
This station was opened in 1877 and was the third station to serve the town. It has been modernised but still retains its Victorian feel. This is the view towards Larne with the 10.35 from Belfast Central on the left and the 10.55 from Larne Harbour on the right.

Marine Parade, Whitehead
See Image At one time it looked as if Whitehead might become a dormitory for students at the Jordanstown campus of the University of Ulster. It did not. Marine Parade overlooks the sea and has become a fashionable place to live.
