Bleach Green Viaducts, Newtownabbey Co. Antrim
The Bleach Green viaducts are a set of three connected bridges where the railway line to Larne diverges from the line to Londonderry. The picture shows one of the two modern viaducts built in 1934.The line from Larne passes under the Londonderry line and is the only burrowing viaduct in Ireland.

Bleach Green viaducts, Newtownabbey Co. Antrim
The three railway viaducts which make up Bleach Green junction. The two modern concrete ones were constructed in 1934 and the original Victorian stone bridge in the background in 1848 when the rail line to Larne was constructed. The middle bridge carries the line from Larne and passes under the nearest one carrying the line from Londonderry and is the only example of a burrowing viaduct in Ireland.
