The well-protected PSNI station at Crossmaglen
The present structure occupies the site of the former Police/Army base known as Fort XMG which overlooks the square of this strongly republican town. The observation structure, so prominent a feature of the old base, has been replaced by a tall telecommunications mast with security cameras.
