Removing fallen trees above the Creggan Gorge
Storm Ali hit Northern Ireland with a vengeance on Wednesday 19th September, 2018. 91 mph gusts were recorded in parts of Co Down and in Co Armagh an engineer was killed by a fallen tree at the entrance to Slieve Gullion and a fellow worker badly injured. It took the best part of a week to remove the hundreds of fallen trees which blocked the province's roads.
