Poyntzpass' St Joseph's Catholic Chapel seen across the graveyard of the Presbyterian Meeting House
The two places of religion lend their names to two of the village's main streets - Meeting Street and Chapel Street. A third street - Church Street - takes its name after the Anglican place of worship.

The Presbyterian Meeting House, Poyntzpass
Located in Meeting Street, this architecturally plain building, together with a detached schoolroom building, dates back to 1836. Poyntzpass shares a minister with the churches at Cremore and Fourtowns.
