HM Coastguard Station, Kilkeel/Chill Chaoil
The station, situated on Harbour Road, acts as the base for the South Down Coast Rescue team.

It was near to this station that the two Tudweiliog men landed in March 1933 after some thirty six hours drifting in an open boat across the Irish Sea.

This is a twin rig trawler of wooden construction with an overall length of 21m and a gross tonnage of 116 tons. It has a crew of six.
