St Mary's Catholic Church from the Bowling Green car park
This is the oldest Catholic chapel in Newry dating back to 1730. In 1789 the earlier building was replaced by the present chapel.

Convent of Mercy, Kilmorey Road
The convent housed in a Georgian building has an attached chapel. The nuns who look after the elderly also run Our Lady's Grammar School, Newry, ranked as the leading girls school in Northern Ireland.
