Shops in Hill Street, Newry
Hill Street has traditionally been Newry's main shopping street. The development of shopping malls on the periphery of the traditional CBD has led in recent years to a reduction in the importance of Hill Street as a shopping centre.

A.O.H. Marchers Assembling in The Mall
The Ancient Order of Hibernians, once found throughout the island of Ireland, is now mainly confined to the North and constitutes a Catholic counterpart to the Protestant Loyal Orange Order. Its main stronghold these days, however, is the US and Canada.
