The Tails of Flight Sculpture on Newcastle's Promenade
This sculpture, the work of Charles Normandale, celebrates the 1910 pioneering flight along the beach at Newcastle by Harry Ferguson (of agricultural tractor fame) the first person to fly over Irish soil.
