Field and trees near Loughbrickland
Field and trees on the northern side of the Mountainview Road Image at Derrydrumuck. The tree on the right might once have been part of a hedge. Why the others are isolated is beyond by knowledge (unless it’s just a natural occurrence).

Disused farmyard at Derrydrummuck
Along the Mountainview Road, this farmyard is located to the rear of a derelict house. The name of the townland, Derrydrummuck, is an anglicisation of the Irish 'Doire Droma Muc' - meaning 'the oakwood of the ridge of the pigs'. It is thought that this refers to the practice of bringing pigs into woodland in the autumn to feed on acorns.
