Flood damage, Dunbar Road, Banbridge
There is an outlet to the Bann, for storm water, below road level just to the right of the bridge. It appears (to the layman) that the drain burst under pressure from too much water during the floods last weekend Image causing the surface of the road to collapse.

Dunbar's Bridge, Banbridge (1981)
Dunbar’s Bridge looking SW across the Bann. The row of white houses top right were unoccupied and had been for many years. Now demolished. The outbuildings on the extreme left have been demolished and replaced by modern houses. The bridge had been repaired after being damaged in a flood. See also Image
