Castlewellan - replica of Drumgooland High Cross
This is a replica of the High Cross that used to be by the church in Drumgooland between Rathrifriland and Drumena. One source in a website http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rosdavies/PHOTOSwords/DrumgoolandAll.htm says that the cross was broken by Protestants in 1744.
