The Ballintogher Road twists and turns and goes up and down as it makes it way from the Downpatrick-Strangford road to Saul. It is just about wide enough for a small car – one of the stars of the country roads!!! See also Image for another view of this road in the same square.

The Lisboy Road near Downpatrick
The Lisboy Road runs off the Downpatrick-Strangford road for about three quarters of a mile before rejoining it. It passes through undulating agricultural land. The stump of an old windmill can be seen, through the trees, at middle left. This part of Co Down (known as the “Lecale”) once had an unusually large number of windmills.
