Market Street, Downpatrick
A line of traffic makes its way through the lights at St. Patricks Avenue. The queue can be seen stretching off in the distance along the Ballydugan Road. Downpatrick serves a reminder of what traffic was like on the N1 through Drogheda before the M1 bypass opened.

St Patrick Centre, Downpatrick
The Saint Patrick Centre is the World's only permanent interpretation centre dedicated to this Welsh ex-pat who became the Patron Saint of Ireland. It is also one of the top tourist attractions in Ireland.
