A milepost on the old part of the Glenavy Road. It gives the distances as: Moira 4½, Antrim 13 and Crumlin 7¾ statute miles. The road was (and still is, albeit by a different route) part of a main road from the north to Dublin. See also Image

Ballinderry station (1980)
The side entrance to Ballinderry station Image when the line still had a passenger service. Passengers were instructed to use the road bridge to cross to the other platform. Some train times were shown on a notice board Image at the entrance. The former station master’s house is on the right.
