A small village in quite an affluent rural area on the edge Belfast. The village lies just seven miles from Belfast city centre and three from the edge of the city.

Bus, Drumbo
An Ulsterbus passing through Drumbo village. The number on the front is 013 but I think that this is actually the 13D from Belfast Europa Buscentre to Drumbo and back. Journey time from Belfast to Drumbo is 39 minutes.

Old pump, Drumbo
An old pump, complete with handwheel, located near the junction of Back Road and Front Road in Drumbo. The pump features an inscription which I think reads "W. Willis, Dublin Road, Belfast" and the date 1900 - see Image A W. Willis is listed in the 1901 Belfast Street Directory at number 33 Dublin Road, listed as a "plumber, gas and steam fitter".

Willis, Dublin Road, Belfast" and the date 1900. A W. Willis is listed in the 1901 Belfast Street Directory at number 33 Dublin Road, listed as a "plumber, gas and steam fitter". The firm 'Willis Heating & Plumbing Co. Ltd.' was still trading on the Dublin Road in the 1980s - see Image (although they may not have been related) and the name Willis is still to be found on the road today - Image
