Insurance brokers, Newtownards
Located on Regent Street at the corner of Mary Street, for many years this was a branch of the 'Northern Bank'. After the bank closed it has become home to an insurance brokers.

Newtownards Town hall (detail)
The former market house Image was designed by one Ferdinando Stratford in 1765. His death, the following year, delayed completion until 1771. The cupola was added in 1778. The building also features a pediment (with clock), a belfry and a weathervane.

Strean Presbyterian Church, Mary Street, Newtownards
This congregation was formed following a quarrel over the appointment of a new minister for the town's 1st Presbyterian Church. The unsuccessful faction left to form a church of their own, a not uncommon occurrence in Ulster Presbyterianism. The new church, opened in 1866, was bank rolled by Thomas Strean, a wealthy businessman of the town.
