Ruined walls of Temple Cooey
These are the ruins of a later 12thC church built some 400 years after Cooey established his church on this site. The pillared building is a modern pilgrimage altar dating from the 1970s.

St Cooey's wells near Portaferry
The holy wells are thought to have been blessed by St Cooey in the 7th century. They are set in a tranquil setting close to the shore. The site was extensively renovated in 1976. It is particularly well maintained.
