Manhole cover located in the grounds of the now disused Sea Scouts hall located between Hamilton Road and Springfield Avenue in Bangor. The cover is marked 'W.D. Henderson and Sons Ltd. Corner protector, Alfred Street, Bangor
Cast iron corner protector on a house at the far end of Alfred Street in Bangor (see Image). I think that this was placed here to protect the house from damage from passing cartwheels. Any other details or information would be welcomed. Cast in Belfast, it bears the mark of the Millfield Foundry.
