Path, Bangor
Footpath running from Castle Park to the Bloomfield Road in Bangor. Shaded by mature trees, it appears to be a favourite hunting ground for sparrowhawks - I've seen several (or the same bird multiple times) feasting on pigeon here.

Blackcap, Bangor
Male blackcap in a tree near Castle Park in Bangor. Very territorial and aggressive little birds - once they find a good source of food they will remain there during daylight hours and chase away other birds such as tits and finches.

Sparrowhawk feasting on a pigeon on the edge of Castle Park in Bangor, close to Bloomfield Road. A fairly common occurrence, I have seen similar frequently in the area - though this was the first time I remembered to bring a camera. See also https://youtu.be/4dT1luqTT0U for a video performance. (I got a much better picture a few weeks later - see Image)
