Adams manhole cover, Holywood (2)
An Adams conical manhole cover, on the Church Road Image, similar to this one Image but not like this Image My understanding is that he “cone” (underneath) is not a true cone but is straight on one side. Its purpose is to reduce movement by the cover. Image shows the “conical cover” inscription.

Building site for sale, Holywood
A residential building site for sale, close to the Church Road Image, opposite Glenlyon (behind me). Described by the agents as “Building Site at 2A Edinburgh Avenue, Holywood. Outline Planning Permission Passed for Single Dwelling This delightful site is tucked away off this quiet cul-de-sac. Located within the very popular town of Holywood, a location well known for its quality of housing, close proximity to first class amenities including schools, churches, restaurants and within easy reach of Belfast and Bangor. The site itself offers an excellent opportunity to build to your own design and specification (subject to final approval) within this highly regarded area”. This photograph appears as a matter of geographical and historical record only. I have no connection with any of the parties involved in the sale.
