Former Ulster Lasers, Derriaghy
Digging deep into the memory (which might not be entirely accurate) but, from what I can remember, way back in the early 1970’s, this distinctively-shaped factory, at the old line of The Cutts, was occupied by Ulster Lasers Limited. It was quite a pioneering high-tec business though, I have to admit, I don’t know what happened to cause the cessation of production. The premises are now occupied by a business making plastic food packaging.

Warehouse to let, Derriaghy
A vacant warehouse, at 11 The Cutts, offered to let and described by the agents as “Ideally located between Belfast and Lisburn these commercial premises are ideally suitable for manufacturing, retail (subject to planning permission) and or distribution of a wide range of products including food, electronic and hardware parts etc”. This photograph appears as a matter of record only. I have no connection with any of the parties involved in the letting.
