The National Trust car park opposite the entrance to the Divis Mountain road
Unauthorised vehicles are not permitted to drive along the road leading to the summit of Divis. For this reason a large car park has been constructed opposite the entrance to the mountain road.

The road to the summit of Divis
The walk to the summit and back is a distance of c5kms - but at least the walker arrives back with dry feet. Away from the road the land is very boggy.
