King Street Mews, Belfast
A Victorian creation, King Street Mews ran from College Place North Image (background) to King Street. Cut off by the building of College Avenue (behind me) it is now a cul-de-sac. It seems that the street was never intended to be residential and, 100 years ago, had but one inhabited house.

Lorry and weighbridge, Belfast
Not immediately obvious but this flour tanker is stopped on a weighbridge in College Place North Image It serves the nearby Neill’s flour mill Image It becomes a bit more apparent if you notice that the setts have been partly replaced by tarmac. See also Image

Neill’s have been producing flour at 1 College Place North for more than 100 years. This is the rear of the premises seen from College Avenue. One of the (if not the) last manufacturing businesses left close to the city centre.
