Boxing Day, Belfast (2014)
See Image There seemed to be more people about today and more shops seemed to be open earlier. On the other hand the weather was not quite as pleasant. The rain started a few minutes after this shot. Donegall Place from in front of the City Hall.

Former "Internacionale" shop, Belfast (May 2014)
The national clothing chain “Internacionale” passed into administration on 28 February 2014. This was the Belfast city centre branch at 49 Donegall Place (previously a “Peacocks”), now vacant and offered to let. The agents’ description includes “Absolute prime location in Northern Ireland's premier retailing destination adjacent to Boots and opposite Marks & Spencer and Next. . . . Fitted to a high standard and ready for immediate occupation”. This photograph appears as a matter of record only. I have no connection with any of the parties involved in the insolvency or the letting. Continue to Image

This rather inconveniently accessed centre situated on the first floor and with a hyper active fire alarm has been replaced by a modern building in Donegall Square at a cost of some £1.6 million pounds.
